Tastes of the World

Kevin always has to make sure everyone who comes to Vegas gets to enjoy a Coke at the Coca-Cola Store. After the M&M Store we ventured off for a Coke. Here everyone waits while Nicole and I order the drinks.Backa Cow cleaning up some for Kai so he doesn't become "messy", this boy does not like to be "a mess".

I've always wanted to do the tastes of the world and this day we did!! For the most part they were good, although some were really bad . . .

. . . as the look on Kai's face can tell you!! The picture before this was even more expressive but I was laughing so hard it's all blurry. The taste that made him shudder was Beverly from Italy. We tasted Coke from Mexico, Costa Rica, Israel, Paraguay, South Africa, China, Peru, Mauritius, Spain, Japan, China and England. I can't remember what the favorite was. I do however, remember that I will never taste Beverly from Italy again!

Kevin is almost willing to try anything again, unless it's green, Beverly was clear, Kevin just doesn't like things to ingest that are green.

The Castle

On the ride home from the airport, we drove past the Luxor. As you can see it is a castle, it was night time a light up so pretty, of course Miss Isa wanted to go back and see as she loves all things castle. Her she is with her mama and brother.This is the front of the castle, that is along the strip. Isa wasn't very pleased with the inside of the castle as all it has was games she couldn't play!

I was trying to get them to look at me so I could get the New York New York in the back ground, but Isa was trying to see the green lady.

Next stop Krispy Kreme Donuts, don't they look good?

The Gardens

I'm sooooo behind on my blogging that I'm going and try to blog every day this month (we'll see if that happens)! I still have so many pictures from my trip to WA and when the Riedesels came to visit, I feel like I'll never catch up . . . but here goes!

One of my favorite places to take people when they visit are the gardens at the Belligo. They change them several times a year and they are just so amazing and beautiful. This seemed to be a spring them with lots of bugs, flowers and water!

Isa has spotted something she thought was great.You can see the giant ant in the background, Isa has spotted something else.
This is a snail that needed some touch up. You can see the lady in there working, they pull out the flowers as they start to die off and replace with fresh ones. This exhibit is always fresh and pretty. Kai is looking on intently, another lady who was working from a cart getting things ready gave each of the kids a pretty yellow flower.

Kai loved his flower! In fact he loved it so much we had to go ask for another as the stem and flower separated.

All the beauties! You can see a bit of big yellow and lime green in the background, they are giant bucket and shovel!

Beautiful girl in front of the ladybug, it was made mostly from carnations. Did I also mention has great it smells in there too?

Someone is getting tired.

Kai is so expressive. I think I could take a thousand pictures of him and they would all have different expressions! He loved the big watering cans, dumping out the water.

Well, Isa girl I'm not sure but, I think maybe we'll try for San Fransisco . . . that way you can wear some flowers in your hair.

I know that's probably one song you don't know, I'll teach it to you on the way!

For those wondering, Kevin was at a job training program this day in the morning.

Leaving on a Jet Plane

One more minute with Black Baby. Every morning the kids got up and went looking for the cat, I guess they might just need one at home.Looking at Kai, thinking why isn't this person petting me . . . I'm the best cat in the world!

Trying to run off some of their energy, there is a big desert turtle that the kids can climb on so I took them up to do just that! Here they are hiding in it.

The moving sidewalks were not working, so I had them run down one way and back the other!

This took up a lot of waiting time.

Morning at Water Park

This morning at 8 AM we were already at the water park, the temp as we pulled in read 100 degrees, it is much to hot to go in the afternoon. Kai absolutely loved it, as it was a splash pad were the water shoots up and doesn't spray down at you. See Kai in the background but the red pole? That is where the water gets turned on at.Isa is checking it out while the Kaister runs full speed ahead!

This is funny, Kai would step on or put his hand over the water and it would just happen to be when it was turning off, he thought he was the one making it stop.

Jumping like the bunnies do. Blogger didn't load the way I wanted it too. They did the play equipment first they the water so they would be able to easily slide. Here is the Kai running though his beloved tunnels.

Of course here is Miss Isa, who was not cooperating with pictures today . . . she kept saying don't take my picture and turning her head. I think this is the best I got at the park!

Having Fun in the Sun

As I said before they got here . . . there would be lot's of pool time!! Here they are in Kevin's pool.

After afternoon naps, we headed over to Lisette's for some play in a big pool with steps and a ledge. The kids did a lot better trying out their swimming skills. I think Isa might even be a swimmer when she gets home.

Kai tried jumping in once and prefured not to do it any more.

He loved sitting by the fountain and just putting his hand and feet in the stream of water.
