Little Princess, Meets Disney Princess'

Today was the day Isa had waited for, meeting the princess'. We did her hair (the boys too), put her in her finest princess dress then off we went.
When we got there we met Belle, you know of Beauty and the Beast, Kevin's favorite. As we sat and ordered, it seemed as maybe Belle would be the only princess we would meet that day. See the look on Isa's face as the other princess' are spotted coming in?Kevin was having a great day meeting and getting autographs from all the pretty ladies. We were very surprised to see Cinderella as she is one of the hardest to meet princess'. She is also Isa's favorite.
Look at all the good food we had that day. Michael had the hot dog meal, Calvin the meatballs, Nicole and I had the pasta's and Kevin the chicken. Then look at all the desserts we got, two plates of it, mmmmm.

After we went to get pictures by Nemo, went on Test Track then took the bus back to the hotel. The kids really enjoyed riding the buses to and from the parks.
Check back for more to come soon

Happy Birthday Calvin

Today is Calvin's birthday and we started it early at Animal Kingdom. We really made a splash on the rapids ride.We met up with some friends for pictures and autographs, then posed in front of the tree of life for some photos. We then decided a safari was in order. The kids really enjoyed seeing the animals in the natural habitat, Cal enjoyed a dryer ride.
Next we went to Dino land Kevin got me on a ride that didn't seem like it would be too bad, on our way up we seen God written in the sky (now I was wondering). The ride wasn't my favorite as it had you spinning around very fast for about 100 feet. Next we headed off for the Mt Everest ride. As we are heading up the first steep incline I see a Jesus saves written in the sky (I couldn't get my camera out fast enough for a pic), this had me a little concerned. It was the ride from hell!!! I've never felt so ill after a ride, from now on I'm checking the skies before getting on any ride.

After a swim and a rest at the hotel we head to Epcot for Calvin's birthday dinner. We ate at the Coral Reef, a crowd favorite. Dinner is always a treat with tired pre-schoolers in tow. The fish is what Cal and Nicole choose for their dinners, both said it was very good. The chocolate wave was our dessert, it was very yummy.

We arrived early in Orlando, so we decided to go to downtown Disney for the afternoon here are some of the pictures the boys wanted taken. First off Kevin and Michael bu the elephants.Kevin wanted his picture taken with all the dogs, they are made from Lego's.

I can't believe him sometimes!! I took an extra picture for good measure as a cute girl walked by. Look at that head turn.
Here's the man with Buzz.
It's nice to be in early. We are taking it easy for now, just waiting for tomorrow morning when Nicole and the kids arrive. I will pick them up, come back here, grab a little breakfast - - then look out Disney World here we come!!

New Orleans

Here are the boys at the river walk, along the Mississippi, they are in front of a statue dedicated to the immigrants. This is in front of a tree I liked, don't know what kind it is but I like it. This is also the courtyard of the hotel we are staying at. Pool time!!
I just like this picture, taken at the right time.
Michael was having fun and then Uncle Kevin jumped in and he got splashed. Oh a sleeping boy. Isn't it grand? Hopefully this is how he will look soon, it's been a long day.

On the Road Again

Here are the boys already to go.Our first stop for the evening was New Mexico. I was so excited to see a Cracker Barrel, I've always wanted to try one and haven't until this night. It was wonderful great prices, food and more than anyone could possibly eat in one setting. They also have a great store and I spotted this for a certain little miss, however g'pa said we had no room. Have I mentioned he stays home next time? I would have found room!
Then it was back to the room for a little swimming for the boys. They had a lot of bundled up energy to get rid of.
This is the next day, it occurred to me we hadn't gotten any outside pictures in New Mexico so here it is.
Next state - - Texas where everything is over sized! From the rest areas to the barns and cows, imagine my pleasant surprise as we crested a hill and saw this enormous cross! In true Texas fashion this is the largest cross in the western hemisphere. We decided to stop and have a look around.
There are ten stations that have at least one verse, then a statue to accompany the verse.

Kevin liked the fountain with a statue of Jesus.

It was a good day, the boys are getting tired of all the driving we are trying to stop more for photo ops.

They're Home

Heather just called and they are home. I already miss them, although I will admit I needed a break from Casey. He is a very busy boy, but a fun little guy. Peyton is just too cute. He is always busy and always on a mission. Here he is at the airport towing his suitcase, everyone who passed had to stop a take a look and comment on how cute he was. Here are both of the boys heading towards the tram.I decided to fill up the boys tummies before they got on the flight (and this kept them busy for a minute).

Here is Casey on the tram, he wouldn't look at the camera.

Peyton just loved being on the choo-choo train,

he would look at the camera.
Another way to keep them busy, teaching them to ride the moving sidewalk.

Peyton loved it he did master jumping off, it was hard to get on the darn thing though.
You two come back whenever you want, we miss you already!
We love you,
Granma and Granpa and
Uncles Kevin and Trevor

Pool Time

Michael and Casey are shooting their guns at the windows.

All the boys having fun with their guns.
Michael practicing his kicks.

Casey always having fun.
Peyton, not so much fun.

Now he's all smiles.

Peyton and the Crackers

Peyton went missing for a couple of minutes on us the other day, we knew he had headed upstairs because he is not allowed up there, so of course that's the first place he'd go when we had our backs turned. Look what he found in granma's bedroom - - the stuff we had in a corner for our trip to WDW. Of course his choice snack would have been the crackers, so he thought since he couldn't get them opened he'd bring them downstairs for some help. They are behind him here and he's trying to reach around without turning around.

opps, guess he'll just have to go back up and try again.
Pulling them down seemed easy.
Now to get them down just one more step.

Getting closer, sure hope I get some after all this hard work.
Oh, look! There goes the kitty.
Yes, this kitty I guess he didn't really want the crackers after all.
