It's a Sad Day

Oh, so sad today. One week ago today my grandchildren were taken away from me by my daughter, Nicole. I was not happy one bit about this, but since she is now an adult and a mama herself, she really doesn't care about what I have to say so much. Although I will admit they did want to see their daddy, they also wanted to stay a little longer with ME!
So now all these poor water inflatables have been deflated. They are all squished into this plastic container until someone comes back to play once again. The poor little booster seat has been put back in the closet, not knowing when it will see daylight again.

This box of Toy Story toys that Kai played with faithfully for four days is well . . . I just didn't have the heart to put them back in the spare bedroom all by themselves (ya know in the movie they were suppose to go to the attic, that wasn't a happy thought for them). I've left them in the family room, were Kevin checks them daily just to see if one might have found it's way into Kai's backpack. And this is the bed that Isa slept in at night and Kai had a nap or two in. It is washed and deflated and stuffed back into the little red back with the pump just waiting to be taken out, blown up and slept in again.
Just wondering how long it will be until the Meemaw, toys and inflatables will be happy again?
oops, the backa cow and uncle too!

Leaving on a Jet Plane

One more minute with Black Baby. Every morning the kids got up and went looking for the cat, I guess they might just need one at home.Looking at Kai, thinking why isn't this person petting me . . . I'm the best cat in the world!
On the tram heading to their gate, Isa loved that she got to stand and hold the pole!
Getting further and further away from their Meemaw :*(
Trying to run off some of their energy, there is a big desert turtle that the kids can climb on so I took them up to do just that! Here they are hiding in it.
Peeking out to see if it is safe to climb back on.
The moving sidewalks were not working, so I had them run down one way and back the other!
This took up a lot of waiting time.
Kai is finally catching up to his sister!
Hurry back guys, we are already missing you!

Morning at Water Park

This morning at 8 AM we were already at the water park, the temp as we pulled in read 100 degrees, it is much to hot to go in the afternoon. Kai absolutely loved it, as it was a splash pad were the water shoots up and doesn't spray down at you. See Kai in the background but the red pole? That is where the water gets turned on at.Isa is checking it out while the Kaister runs full speed ahead!

This is funny, Kai would step on or put his hand over the water and it would just happen to be when it was turning off, he thought he was the one making it stop.

Jumping like the bunnies do. Blogger didn't load the way I wanted it too. They did the play equipment first they the water so they would be able to easily slide. Here is the Kai running though his beloved tunnels.
Of course here is Miss Isa, who was not cooperating with pictures today . . . she kept saying don't take my picture and turning her head. I think this is the best I got at the park!
Having fun climbing around.
The hill she climbed up to go down the slides.
The princess.
Going down, while yelling at me " your not going to get my picture Meemaw"!
Kai on his way down.
More to come later, as it's been another busy morning with lot's of activities accomplished.

Having Fun in the Sun

As I said before they got here . . . there would be lot's of pool time!! Here they are in Kevin's pool.
The Uncle.
Kevin loves having the kids here, he loves showing off his pool.
Kai is just a floating fool.
After afternoon naps, we headed over to Lisette's for some play in a big pool with steps and a ledge. The kids did a lot better trying out their swimming skills. I think Isa might even be a swimmer when she gets home.

Loving the rings and just hanging in the pool.
Now it's time for some jumping in fun.

Kai tried jumping in once and prefured not to do it any more.

He loved sitting by the fountain and just putting his hand and feet in the stream of water.
Catherine showing us one of her many water skills with the help of her mama, Lisette.

Kai having fun with Lisette in the water.
This is Isa's jump off mama's shoulder's pictures of her standing on mama's shoulder's to come on a later post.

They are Here

Nicole and the kiddo's arrived safely, last night, very late. I believe Kai fell asleep about 11:30 and Isa a little later. They much to my dismay Kai was bright eyed and bushy tailed at 5 am, Isa followed about an hour later. This is what poor Kai looked like about 8 am, so after a snack and drink he and Isa went down for their first naps of the day at 8:30, at 1 pm they took their second naps.So far today Kai has enjoyed playing with all of Uncle Kevin's old Toy Story stuff.

He loves making them fight!
Kai also spent a lot of time going up and down the stairs! I guess when you don't have them at home they are like a new toy when you visit those who have them.
Look how happy he is once he reaches the top!
We've spent most of the time today in various pools, as they just aren't used to this heat (115). More pictures of that later, for now I have BBQ hamburgers waiting on me.

The Next Top Model

I didn't get these loaded right, so story is going to be a little backwards and sideways! When I go to visit the kiddo's, Isa likes to do girly stuff. Don't get her wrong, as she is definitely a tom boy! She just likes girly too. Here she is with her curly hair and pink fingernail, gorgeous ain't she (I think she looks like her Meemaw)? Here she is giving her daddy a father's day hug.

Posing in the jump thingy.
Beautiful girl with curlers in!
Look, I can see you Meemaw.
Use this one next.
We had lot's of fun while mommy and daddy were at work.
Some pictures will have to stay in our secret stash . . . they can never find out all the fun we had!

Kabobs with the Grandkids

I had fun cooking with the grandkids while in WA. We didn't get to do as much as I'd like to have, next visit maybe! These pictures are of Isa and Peyton "stabbing" the chicken, beef and veggies for daddy (Uncle Mark) to BBQ.
