Fun Day

Today I had a day out with Eileen who was in town with her husband. While he was working we headed off to see the sights. First off we headed to the downtown area - - not to be confused with the strip. I spotted a casino with a sign above it that stated it was the historical casino of LV, enough stated we had to enter to say she'd been there! Once inside I found a bank of machines that looked interesting and guess what they were!! First I hit 4 2's then a few plays later I hit 4 aces. Eileen thought that it might be fun to play poker but wasn't sure how. At this point I let her rub my sweater for good luck. I proceeded to show her, she drew 2 2's a 10 and 2 aces then says to me do I hold the 2's and the aces? My reply, if I were you I'd hold the aces you'll still get your play back and throw the rest away because I think you'll get two more aces. She follows instruction well look what she hit - - F-O-U-R count them F-O-U-R ACES!!!!

Unbelievable! However it's ever so true and here is the picture to prove it. We finished the day with a great buffet at the Paris, after hitting the largest gift store in the world!! Then off to pick up Gary and head to the cactus garden at Ethel M's. On the way back to their hotel Eileen spotted a Lee's Discount Liquor store and wanted to stop so we did. Wow did they ever had liquor, I've never seen that much booze in one spot before. They stocked up on some of Eileen's favorite drink and I purchased a couple of bottles I thought the girls might like when they get around to visiting. All in all a fun day and I can't wait until they come back next year!!
