The Stump

This is my favorite stump, in one of my favorite parks in Whatcom County. I think every time I'm in Bellingham I take the kids here. They love it also,but more for the playground and creek.

Don't they all look so cute sitting upon the stump? The day I took Casey and Peyton out, Michael was out fishing with his dad (Casey didn't want to go fishing, he wanted to spend time with his grandma, everyone think aawwwww). Of course Heather wouldn't let me take

Grace . . . so no stump picture with her. I'm sure I'll be taking more stump pictures next trip too!

The Tree

This is my favorite tree, I plop the kids up there and start clicking.

Then there is this little cutie who thought a picture perched in the tree was pretty cool!

The bus that they "toured" in was outside The Golden Nugget yesterday, and we just couldn't resist getting a picture with the kids.

A Day at The Tank

The Tank at the Golden Nugget Casino.Today Best Buddies had an event at the pool, AKA The Tank, at The Golden Nugget. The kids got a nice snack of fruit, danish and muffins while they waited to take a tour behind the scenes of the tank that holds all the fish.

The Tank is in the center of the pool, you can swim up to either side to get a closer look at the fish and the sharks too. If you look carefully you can see the dark tube running through The Tank . . . that's a water slide that is clear all the way around so you can shark gaze along the way!

This side of the pool also had a shallow side that the little ones can play in or, in Kevin's case just lounge in the water and watch the girls go by.

It was such a fun morning for all the kids. Best Buddies and the Golden Nugget were wonderful for putting this on!! Everyone had a fantastic time, they can't be thanked enough!

The Third of July

The fourth of July parade was on the third of July, doesn't make sense to me, whatever . . . here are some pictures that should have been posted, I'm sure I didn't post them, if I did I'm sorry for the repeat. I haven't taken time to look because, I didn't want to mess up on my posting every day this month and it's getting close to bedtime!! ;) Kevin on the float, it amazes me how he always surrounds himself with the pretty girls.
After the parade Lisette invited us all over to their place for a swim, Kevin jumps right in!

Tastes of the World

Kevin always has to make sure everyone who comes to Vegas gets to enjoy a Coke at the Coca-Cola Store. After the M&M Store we ventured off for a Coke. Here everyone waits while Nicole and I order the drinks.Backa Cow cleaning up some for Kai so he doesn't become "messy", this boy does not like to be "a mess".

I've always wanted to do the tastes of the world and this day we did!! For the most part they were good, although some were really bad . . .

. . . as the look on Kai's face can tell you!! The picture before this was even more expressive but I was laughing so hard it's all blurry. The taste that made him shudder was Beverly from Italy. We tasted Coke from Mexico, Costa Rica, Israel, Paraguay, South Africa, China, Peru, Mauritius, Spain, Japan, China and England. I can't remember what the favorite was. I do however, remember that I will never taste Beverly from Italy again!

Kevin is almost willing to try anything again, unless it's green, Beverly was clear, Kevin just doesn't like things to ingest that are green.
