Tower of Terror

Blogger just can't seem to load my pictures right, so here goes backwards!

Kevin was finally happy to be arriving some what close to the tower of Terror. See the fear on his face?At last we found a sign that pointed us in the right direction.

Grumpy Kevin on the ferris wheel, he wants to go on TOT. Bug's Land look at Mr. Unhappy. We still haven't reached TOT. After all these year's of going to CA Adventure I couldn't believe we have never gone into Bug's Land, it really was kinda cute.

Kevin on the jelly fish ride . . . not happy because we told him it was a practise ride for the TOT.

He was finally happy after we went on the Tower of Terror. After that we took in the Aladan show and then learned how to draw Tigger!! He even had pizza for dinner. More post after we get home.

Another Day

Don't know what's up with blogger ,but it is not doing as it should so this will be short.

Here Kevin is with a witch Minnie, she had just tried to kiss him.

This is the magic store owned by Lisette's friend. He was nice enough to get us tickets into the parks and give Kevin a much desired magic trick and magic wand.

Good Morning

Thought I'd share a couple of pictures of the hotel. Kevin and I went out walking this morning to kill some time. we can't get into the park until 10.

He's happy here, he thinks we are going to the park.

Paradise . . .

. . . Pier that is!! Although the kiddo's think it is paradise. The hotlel is fantastic, we can see the new color the world show from our room tonight!! they even have the music piped in if you want it. There is also a viewing area for the fireworks show with piped in music also. Then there is a waterslide that Kevin and Catherine have gone down so many times we've lost track!! I think the smile on his face says it all.

A few shots from our room to show the view. The picture on the right, dead center shows Tower of Terror . . . can hardly wait! The one right below shows the water where the color's show will be. What a great view we'll have and NO crowds!!

See that white snow cap in the center??? That's the matterhorn. The hotel in front of it is the Disney Californian. It's going to be a fun filled two days! The kids are having a great time just watching the rides today. Of course they are enjoying the waterslide too.

We are now heading off to our favorite restuarnt . . . Mrs.Knotts.

Beach Fun

Our view from the pier. Could have stayed there all day and just watched the sailboats, airplanes and water . . . Kevin the ladies.They had lot's of gymnastic stuff to play on. Kevin didn't quite understand "walking on your hands"!

Today the beach for a little and then brunch at one of Lisette's account's restaurant's then off to Disneyland. We won't actually go to the parks today, but will explore all the free stuff around them.

Liberace Museum

This weekend we decided to take in the Liberace Museum. We have lived in Vegas for eight years and waited until they announced it would be closing this month to visit it. It was an amazing building, both inside and out, Liberace really enjoyed his bling!! This is one of the many piano's in the museum. Not all of the piano's had been played by Liberace, however all were beautiful.

Kevin loved the museum. He is a man who loves his bling too!!! He and Liberace could have been great buddies! In this case is a diamond ring of a baby grand piano, Kevin tried to talk one of the staff into letting him take it home. He knows what he wants and tries to go after it. This is a place that if it wasn't closing Kevin would go back to several times I'm sure!!

Kevin had to get a picture with the man!
