A Boy and His Toy

Casey has a new favorite toy! It's the mini sprint, while in WA gramps (what Case now calls g'pa) took the all the boys (big ones too) to Skagit and Casey thought it was great. Once he found Kevin's mini sprint he takes it with him everywhere. He also talks non-stop about the races. Looks like gramps will have company from now one when he goes out to Skagit.

CAUTION. . .

. . .doesn't always play well with others. Hard to believe with that cute little face I know but, sadly it's true. This morning I thought it would be nice to go to Aliante Park for some fun with the dinosaurs and water, silly me!! I wasn't to crowed when we arrived, but soon became that way. playing one of the dino's . . . then he went back on the play structure to go down the slide, a little boy ran past him (as children do on playgrounds) and accidentally brushed against him, Casey grabbed him and threw him to the ground.

Here is Casey in his time out, not at all happy with his g'ma. He went back to the play area and did the same thing all over again. He'd been told if he did it again we would go back to the house and so we did. Tomorrow we'll try a playground without so many kiddos running around. We went shopping and got some lunch goodies, so it's going to be lunch then a rest.

Tonight we decided to go out to the Santa Fe for a buffet. It seemed to me like something that Casey would like, you know all that food to choose from. First off he had very little interest in the food, he ate pizza I spotted some salmon and shrimp and asked him if he'd like some of that - - his reply, No I only eat the fish that we catch!! Any way back to the title of the post as we walked in Casey spotted all those slot machines and at the top of his lungs declared "I want to play with those." Oh, granma Alice is so proud.

Peyton Turns Two

The day started off great with all the cousins getting together for a little oyster hunting and clam digging. Of course the picture below is the kids idea of clamming. Peyton loves the water so I'm sure in his eyes his morning was perfect.Peyton took a little time out to spend with Kaikai in the dry sand.

Birthday Boy Celebrated!!!!

Well, as most of you know our Kaikai turned one this week, we officially celebrated it on Saturday. He was happy to have a party and all the attention although a little overwhelmed also.Kaikai's 1st birthday hat.

The most important thing we will be doing on this day is picking up Nicole, Isa and KaiKai at the airport in Orlando. I'm sooooo excited!!!
