Thanksgiving Fun

Calvin, getting his stuffin' out of the birdThe bird, isn't she pretty?
Kevin taking pic's

Calvin and John, in their "Cracker" hats. The funny this was after the picture's were taken, Calvin and John were the only ones who continued to wear the hats!

Catherine and Kevin

John and Catherine

John and Catherine brought some Christmas Crackers with them (yes, we know it's not Christmas yet) and we popped them before eating. It was fun to see what they had inside and read the jokes and trivia. Of course they are a European tradition so John had to explain some of the jokes to us . . .

Christmas Times A Coming . . .

. . . so I guess I better finish up with my Thanksgiving pictures!!
All the little ones at the kiddie table. See the two leaves in the middle? Michael wanted to decorate the table, so he went outside and collected these.

Looks good doesn't it?
Kevin waiting for the food to be passed around. Notice the china Heather used? It was grandma Alice's.
Nicole couldn't wait to pop open the "bubbly".

Heather with another bottle - - geez these girls are really into it this year! Grace E. waiting for her dinner. What a happy girl.
After dinner movie with an uncle.

HAPPY THANKS GIVING

First thing this morning we grabbed Isa and headed out to Heather's to stuff the bird. Everyone had to get in on the action and assist bacca cow with the preparation. Michael was the first to put his hand in all the goo.Pety needed a little help from his mom (I think this was to keep it from going into his mouth)
Next up was Isa, I'm thankful that she wasn't doing this on her own as we would have been there all day just stuffing, as her hands are so tiny only a bit went in each time.

Showing the grand kids how to get the stuffing way down inside the bird.
Team work - - there's nothing like it.
Peyt just had to dump the seasoning out to see what it tasted like. Bet he really liked it, huh?
