Getting Sworn In

While at California Adventure, the Riedesel's took their two and Peyton to the Wilderness Area, were the kids could all kinds of running around and climbing. The Bender's had taken the older ones on other rides and we were to meet up for the Color of the World's show. As Kevin, Sara and I were rounding a corner we ran into this group coming out. Here they are waiting to be sworn in.

Raising those hands up high.

Using their hands to soar like the eagles.

Growling like the bears (love how Uncle Kevin is doing it too).

The older two, getting their picture taken afterwards.

One day I just might get all of the June and July stuff posted, maybe, please don't hold your breath!!!!

Random Ride Photo's Again . . .

. . . the Little Mermaid was a big hit! We rode it several times, everyone at the end waving bye.

It's a Small World After All, It's a Small World After All, It's a Small World After All, it's a small, small world! Come on you know you want to sing it . . .

Another Busy Morning

Today started off with a trip to a water park. Casey wanted a picture of him in "jail", I guess he wants to send it to Uncle Trevor!

These next couple of pictures, look at closely. Both the boys are sticking their tongues out to the side! That is most defiantly a Welch trait.

Now we are off for some swimming at a friends. Hopefully I'll get some more pictures up later today.

Happy Birthday, Casey!

It only seems appropriate that my last post of the year, be about one of my favorite subjects . . . my grandchildren! Specifically Casey. Today our second oldest grandson turns six, happy birthday, Casey. I'm going to post some of my favorite pictures of our latest visit. This one is your family celebration. Mommy was nice enough to have that before we left.

Being such a great big brother, holding the flashlight so that Peyt could see his gift a little better. Being the first one to check things out.
Play time with cousins inside . . .
and outside.
Hoping that Logan can get your shoe out of the mud and back too you (I don't think your mom was too happy about this) so the fun can continue.
Being the monkey that you are.
Happy Birthday, Caseman!
My your dreams stay big
and your worries stay small.
We love you

On the Road Again

Get ready my favorite grandchildren, we are on our way!!
We can do some of this,
but please, none of this!
Maybe we'll even fit in some of this.

It'll be too cold for any of this!
Lot's and lot's of cousin time.
Maybe some jumping time, but again no crying time!
I'm bringing these so maybe more of this.
Hopefully some of this!!
See you soon!
I'm soooooo excited!

The Stump

This is my favorite stump, in one of my favorite parks in Whatcom County. I think every time I'm in Bellingham I take the kids here. They love it also, but more for the playground and creek.

Don't they all look so cute sitting upon the stump? The day I took Casey and Peyton out, Michael was out fishing with his dad (Casey didn't want to go fishing, he wanted to spend time with his grandma, everyone think aawwwww). Of course Heather wouldn't let me take
Grace . . . so no stump picture with her. I'm sure I'll be taking more stump pictures next trip too!

Peyt and His Bike

Peyton was very excited to show me how he could ride his new bike! I must say, he did an awesome job, maybe one day Uncle Trevor can show him a few tricks.I think he has a little of his grandpa in him, as he wasn't on it for very long when some adjustments needed to made.

Everything's good. Off again.

Kabobs with the Grandkids

I had fun cooking with the grandkids while in WA. We didn't get to do as much as I'd like to have, next visit maybe! These pictures are of Isa and Peyton "stabbing" the chicken, beef and veggies for daddy (Uncle Mark) to BBQ.

Christmas Times A Coming . . .

. . . so I guess I better finish up with my Thanksgiving pictures!!
All the little ones at the kiddie table. See the two leaves in the middle? Michael wanted to decorate the table, so he went outside and collected these.

Looks good doesn't it?
Kevin waiting for the food to be passed around. Notice the china Heather used? It was grandma Alice's.
Nicole couldn't wait to pop open the "bubbly".

Heather with another bottle - - geez these girls are really into it this year! Grace E. waiting for her dinner. What a happy girl.
After dinner movie with an uncle.

Dinner at my house next year kids!!!
