Happy 50th Birthday to me!

What a great way to start the day, I picked up my daughter and her two children at the airport in Orlando, then we headed to the hotel room which had Calvin, Kevin and Michael waiting for us. After some rearranging of all of our stuff we were ready to head off to Disney World. First thing we did was try to get in our hotel room, that was not to happen that early in the morning so we took off for Hollywood Disney. We got to see Playhouse Disney Live and Beauty and the Beast Live on stage. Then it was time for a little food so off to Pizza Planet we went for some Toy Story type Pizza. Kevin and Michael really enjoyed themselves.Isa is also enjoying herself.
What a boy our little Kaikai is.

Here he is walking with his Meemaw wonder where he's going?
Oh, now I see it's a fountain, Kai loves the water.
This is the reaction one gets when they take the boy from the fountain.

Kai's first Disney ride, WOOHOO!

Speaking of WooHoo, our room was finally ready at three p.m.. So off to the food court we went to get our unlimited refill mugs. This looked like it would make a fun photo so we stopped and took a fast picture.

This is a Calvin type break after a long walk down and back, just a little leaning on the stroller and off we go again.
Then after a rest at the hotel, off for dinner with a mouse and his pals. Minnie came to say hi first.

Kevin was very happy to say hi to Minnie.
Pluto stopped by to say hello to Kevin and Calvin.
Look it's Donald, he really "quacks" Kevin up.
Goofy is one of Kevin and Michael's favorite's.

This is what Kai thought of all the character's bothering him at dinner.
The Mickey finally made it to our table they were all happy to greet him.
One the way out we stopped to take a picture with a fake mickey isn't he a cute one too?
OK, so I got to thinking I've spent my 40th and 50th birthdays in Disney World, why not go for the 60th. Anyone who is interested just let me know and I'll start making plans. Maybe we can do the Disney cruise too.

Happy Birthday Kevin

Kevin's 19th birthday started off by hitting the road, we wanted to make Niagara Falls, then into Ontario before dark. We found a nice little park for the kids to stretch their legs in, and some photos. The bottom corner Kevin is telling Michael about the really big falls they will see later in the day. Michael, Isa, Kai and Kevin getting some exercise in.
We made it we are at the falls, this is the US side. We didn't stay long as it was the fourth of July and everyone was there waiting for fireworks. The kids did really enjoy it, Michael couldn't believe how far away from it he was and he was still getting sprayed by the water.

Michael and Isa rolling down the hill outside of our room, it was nice to have a sliding door and they could just go on out. Kevin even had a chair to play with Toy Story when he wanted. Then there was the view of the harbor and lake from out room. Tomorrow we head to Sarina and Nicole to Detroit to pick up Mark.

Little Princess, Meets Disney Princess'

Today was the day Isa had waited for, meeting the princess'. We did her hair (the boys too), put her in her finest princess dress then off we went.
When we got there we met Belle, you know of Beauty and the Beast, Kevin's favorite. As we sat and ordered, it seemed as maybe Belle would be the only princess we would meet that day. See the look on Isa's face as the other princess' are spotted coming in?Kevin was having a great day meeting and getting autographs from all the pretty ladies. We were very surprised to see Cinderella as she is one of the hardest to meet princess'. She is also Isa's favorite.
Look at all the good food we had that day. Michael had the hot dog meal, Calvin the meatballs, Nicole and I had the pasta's and Kevin the chicken. Then look at all the desserts we got, two plates of it, mmmmm.

After we went to get pictures by Nemo, went on Test Track then took the bus back to the hotel. The kids really enjoyed riding the buses to and from the parks.
Check back for more to come soon

Happy Birthday Calvin

Today is Calvin's birthday and we started it early at Animal Kingdom. We really made a splash on the rapids ride.We met up with some friends for pictures and autographs, then posed in front of the tree of life for some photos. We then decided a safari was in order. The kids really enjoyed seeing the animals in the natural habitat, Cal enjoyed a dryer ride.
Next we went to Dino land Kevin got me on a ride that didn't seem like it would be too bad, on our way up we seen God written in the sky (now I was wondering). The ride wasn't my favorite as it had you spinning around very fast for about 100 feet. Next we headed off for the Mt Everest ride. As we are heading up the first steep incline I see a Jesus saves written in the sky (I couldn't get my camera out fast enough for a pic), this had me a little concerned. It was the ride from hell!!! I've never felt so ill after a ride, from now on I'm checking the skies before getting on any ride.

After a swim and a rest at the hotel we head to Epcot for Calvin's birthday dinner. We ate at the Coral Reef, a crowd favorite. Dinner is always a treat with tired pre-schoolers in tow. The fish is what Cal and Nicole choose for their dinners, both said it was very good. The chocolate wave was our dessert, it was very yummy.
