More on Oatman

Here is just a bunch of fun picture's of our visit, some are in a stage coach, or of a hanging, gallows, stockades, jail house, silliness and the mine.  This is a great day trip and everyone had fun!

Diane Came Visiting, Oatman

How much fun!  The burrows were so much fun.  I see this as a day trip for the next time my grandchildren come to visit!  Wonder who will go with me first?  Kevin and Matt were a little leery first, but quickly came to like the burrows.  They are wild and do act wild at times, they prefer carrot and at first all we had was alfalfa cubes.  They can get a little ornery when not given what they want.  And of course they found a dog to pet along the way . . .

Diane Visits Part Two

Diane and I thought it might be fun to go to Oatman and see the burrows.  She had never been to Arizona, so that was a bonus!  On the way we spotted a Joshua Tree and she had never seen one of those to we must stop for a photo opp!  Then it was on to Laughlin before we reached AZ so another stop for picture's.

Diane spotted a turtle statue on the side of the road so we stopped for another photo.   Did I mention that this was a leisurely trip?

Matt came along to make it more fun for Kevin as I think he might have been getting tired of all the older people fun.

Right before we got to Oatman, we seen several Tumble Weeds decorated like Christmas Tree's so again we had to get a picture with our favorite's.

Then it was off to see the Desert Turtle's then on to the burrow's.  Stay tuned for part 3. :)
